By using the Corio Docs application ("App"), you agree to the following terms. Please read these terms
carefully.
1. Service Description
Corio Docs is a mobile and web application designed to read, annotate, and analyze PDF documents with AI
assistance. The app offers the following services:
- PDF file upload and cloud storage
- Document annotation tools (highlighting, underlining, note-taking)
- AI-powered document analysis and chat using Google Gemini technology
- Cross-device synchronization
- Reading progress tracking
2. Account Creation
- You must create a valid account to use the app
- You can sign in with your Apple or Google account
- You are responsible for the accuracy and security of your account information
- Users under 13 years of age may not use the app
3. Usage Rights
By using the app, we grant you the right to:
- Upload and store your own PDF documents
- Add annotations to your documents
- Chat with the AI assistant
- Synchronize your data across devices
4. User Obligations
When using the app, you must comply with the following rules:
- Legal compliance: You will comply with all applicable laws and regulations
- Copyright: You will ensure that you own the copyright or have the right to use the
content you upload
- Harmful content: You will not upload illegal, harmful content or content that violates
the rights of others
- Account security: You will keep your account information confidential and prevent
unauthorized access
- Technical interference: You will not attempt to disrupt the security or operation of
the app
5. Prohibited Conduct
The following behaviors are strictly prohibited:
- Reverse engineering the app or attempting to extract source code
- Using the app for spam, phishing, or other malicious activities
- Attempting to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts
- Sending automated queries that overload the app
- Uploading child abuse material, violent content, or hate speech
6. Intellectual Property
6.1 Our Rights
The app and all related intellectual property rights (code, design, trademarks) belong to us. These terms
grant you a license to use the app, but do not transfer ownership.
6.2 Your Rights
You retain ownership of the content you upload. You grant us the limited license necessary to store, process,
and synchronize your content.
7. AI Services
Important: Responses generated by AI are for informational purposes and may not always
be accurate. You should not rely on AI responses for critical decisions. AI services are provided by
Google Gemini technology.
8. Limitation of Liability
- The app is provided "as is" and we do not make any warranties
- We do not accept liability for technical failures, data loss, or service interruptions
- We are not responsible for issues arising from third-party services (Google, Apple, Supabase)
- We are not liable for indirect, special, or consequential damages
9. Service Changes
We reserve the right to:
- Modify or terminate the service at any time
- Add or remove features
- Change pricing policies (with prior notice)
- Update these terms
10. Account Termination
We may terminate your account in the following circumstances:
- If you violate these terms
- If you engage in illegal activities
- If you do not use your account for more than 12 months
You can close your account at any time. When the account is closed, your data will be deleted within 30 days.
11. Dispute Resolution
- These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkey
- Disputes will be resolved in Turkish courts
- Resolution through good-faith negotiation will be sought first
12. General Provisions
- Severability: If any provision of these terms is deemed invalid, the remaining
provisions remain in effect
- Waiver: Our failure to exercise a right does not constitute a waiver of that right
- Assignment: You may not assign your rights under these terms
- Entire agreement: These terms constitute the entire agreement between you and us
